HORSEBACK RIDING TOUR

If you would like to explore the Sarapiqui countryside and rainforest on horseback, our horseback riding tour is the ideal experience for you. Our tour takes place at Finca La Martita in Chilamate, and it will offer you the opportunity to travel through grasslands and lush primary forest for two hours with local guides and their well-trained group of horses. The Sarapiqui region of Costa Rica has over 560 types of birds (65% of the birds in Costa Rica), and on your horse you will have the chance to see and learn about many of them. In addition, you will explore a beautiful section of the Caribbean lowland rainforest which contains an incredible biodiversity of flora and fauna. After your journey on horseback, you will return to the farmhouse and again be greeted by your Costa Rican hosts with whom you will share locally grown coffee and fresh fruit juice.
